Things would be perfect if supernatural disasters would quit creeping up and ruining Giselle’s happy new life. After finally finding the fur-ever home she’s always wanted a witch blows into town promising to reveal the bloody past of Giselle’s birth, and the circumstances that led the little werewolf to end up in the foster care system to begin with.
Hot on the witch’s trail, another pack of wolves is on the hunt for revenge, and will accept nothing less than her death in retribution for the havoc she’s wrought on them.
Caught in the crossfire, Giselle desires only the truth, and if the witch is who she claims to be, the little werewolf must protect her at any cost. If she’s lying, though, Giselle risks her own kind seeing her as a traitor. Neither her new pack nor her hottie witch boyfriend Damien can offer any help.
Giselle is on her own again. And if she makes the wrong decision, she’ll lose the only link she has to her own past.

They eyed each other silently, neither one offering up a word to start the conversation.
In the quiet between them, Giselle studied the scent. Definitely a perfume: natural oils of patchouli had been mixed with clary sage and just a hint of citronella. It worked well to mask the other synthetic smells of deodorant and floral soap that still clung to her body, but not well enough to trick Giselle’s nose. This woman was no wolf. She was definitely a witch, though. The pendant she wore was enough to give that away, and the Bohemian style clothing with flowing skirts and odd colorful patterns screamed “earth mother.”
The woman closed the distance between them after the silence had long since gone stale. “You do recognize me, don’t you?” There was an oddly hopeful edge in the woman’s voice that caught Giselle off guard.
Should she recognize her? Sure, they both were redheads. But how many other ginger women in the world were there? That meant nothing. And if she was being truly honest with herself, all the faces of all the foster families that had taken her in and subsequently sent her back into the system had long since blurred together into one wretched image in her mind. If this woman had been a part of the foster system, she was barking up the wrong tree if she thought Giselle would welcome her back into her life with open arms.
“Sorry. No.” Giselle crossed her arms in front of her and stood firmly in place.
“Oh, but how could you?” A tear trickled from the corner of the woman’s eye. “I just thought… You were such a tiny thing the last time I held you in my arms.”
Giselle scoffed silently, remembering all the broken promises and false hope that came with each new family that took her in. “Lots of people held me in their arms… and dropped me just as quickly.”
Her words seemed to cut straight to the woman’s heart. More waterworks had her wiping her cheeks with the billowy sleeve of her shirt. “I know. I wish I could have given you a different life. You were meant for so much better things. But…I… sorry.” She sniffled, taking a few stuttered breaths, and then cleared her throat. “Giselle, I am so very sorry.”
“I never told you my name.” The woman’s tears had tugged at Giselle’s heart, but at the mention of her name, she was back on point. How much did this woman know of who she was? And why?
“I didn’t mean to come off so forward. I have just been searching for you for so long.” The woman reached a hand out as if to welcome her in for a hug, but Giselle took one step backwards, out of her reach.
Giselle opened her mouth to speak, but the words refused to come. The woman had all but admitted to being her mother. She had certainly made a show of emotions. But sad as they were, her sobs failed to stir the same feelings within Giselle. Numbness and confusion had Giselle’s feelings locked tighter than a bank vault. If she was her mother… But that wasn’t possible. She was no wolf.
Release day will be here before you know it. Snag the PreOrder now and be first in line to see if the witch is telling Giselle the truth or not.
Emily Macque, a young, beautiful junior partner in her father’s law firm, is but a heartbeat away from love or destiny. Duty brings Emily to a frozen Island estate two hundred and fifty miles north of Chicago. Devotion requires she delve into the property history to settle an estate probate. Death lures her into the arms of the shadows seduction created by the flickering light and dark shadows.
What flames the timeless passions spanning the decades? Love, desire or obsession?
Colin Jorgenson, once a Great Lakes mariner, is a strong man haunted by love and loss. How long will he return each night, gripped by desire, hoping to find the woman he has loved for a century?
Beneath the pristine Island beauty, passions hungered, lingered in the ardent darkness. His passions, fueled by decades of loneliness and longing, could no longer be denied. Will they face eternity together or love in secret as dark things are to be loved between the shadows and the soul?
It all started with death. Emily Macque's Uncle John died and
she was sent by her father's law firm to handle his probate, personal affairs, and summer estate. She was also sent there to rest as she was recently diagnosed with a heart condition. Such is the beginning of Muffy Wilson's The Para-Portage of Emily. Emily's stay was supposed to be uneventful. However, as she dug deeper, she uncovered more than what was normal. Muffy Wilson wrote about a love which transcends time. In the Para-Portage of Emily, this love was put under scrutiny and was explained thoroughly.
The novel was exquisitely done. It was written with such grace that even when it took time to uncover all the mysteries, it was worth it in the end. The dialogues were cleanly written, too. This was a book I had the pleasure of savoring. How Muffy Wilson wrote it will give readers the right feel. The sensitive details were written with such grace that it didn't sound too much. In terms of the characters, they were like real life people. They were suitable for the story and not out of place. As far as I'm concerned, I'm in love with Emily. In addition to that, I was torn between Colin and Cooper. Overall, I think The Para-Portage of Emily is a wonderful, seductive read. It's definitely a page-turner. If you are a fan of romance, this book is an indulgence. It was mine.
This book is just brilliant and so damn good. I was hooked in the story within a few pages and I just couldn't stop reading the book. It was impossible to put it down once I had started. The story is very well written and unfolds very nicely for the reader. It drags you in and keeps you spellbound. Their is a nice mix between paranormal, romance and mystery in the book and you can see that Muffy Wilson combines them very well in this book. I must say that just the way of combining things into one book is what makes this book so good. It is not just pure anything, but more than pure awesome.
I like how the story is told and how the book is written. The style and tone is very well done and the tone of the language and how the language is used to drag the reader in, is what makes the book so good. Emily is also a very entertaining character that I like a lot and at first I was unsure about her but the more I got to know her the better I liked her. The character development and how they grow and change in the book is also very nice and very well done. You can see the character changing and growing in the story and how they react to things in the story to a good way.
This is a must to read book because it is very well written with a very good storyline that is easy to follow, but still gives you surprises. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!

“My darling…how I have missed you. While you were away today, my love, I thought of little else but you. I wrote to you. Let me read to you what I wrote…
There is a captivating sort of magical look in your eyes that tells me there are a few surprises lurking within that beautiful brain—and mayhap, those loins—of yours.
It is the kind of look that invites me to step closer, much closer, until we are touching
but not touching; just sort of "feeling" each other's presence.
My face hovers so close to your own and our eyes are not just locked into each other but more magnetically drawn, like moonbeams.
I reach up and brush the side of your face with my hand,
and your face is so close I can feel the warmth rising from you.
I keep my eyes on yours as long as the connection will last and then
I lean down and gently, ever so gently, brush my lips on yours.
It is positively electric and without noticing our bodies are suddenly pressed fully against each other pushing with a sense of urgency and need.
Our mouths press together and tongue seeks tongue,
warmth seeks warmth and need seeks need…
We kiss for what seems like forever or perhaps just an instant,
but who really knows…
Things happen for reasons, good reasons we have no business questioning or comprehending…
Here. Now. I want you…
I want to look into those mischievous eyes and see them soften with desire.
I want to look up at your face from my explorations of your velvet folds and see a look of complete passionate surrender overtake you.
I want to feel my touch move you to places we can only explore together…
I want you to sit astride me, so I can look up at you.
And I want you to ride me to the edge of the abyss, where we both hover,
hang in that sweet incalculable moment;
that moment of wanting to tumble over, to plummet, but wanting even more to NOT…
to have it last, as long as we can stand it,
there on the edge of cataclysmic satisfaction,
but holding it off, and holding it, and holding it, and….
I can't wait for when you finally gasp and sob and
your body spasms and lurches and you fall against my chest,
our bodies pushed together in the heat and the fertile humidity
and your hair cascades across my face and I breathe you in;
I breathe US in, rich, earthy, the smell of fresh baked bread, or just uncorked champagne.
“Come with me, my love, come. Let me show you the depth of my passion, the breadth of my yearning, the hunger I bear for only you in this, our game of love.”
“Colin, beloved…it is no game to me, for you are my life, my breath, my heartbeat.”
The woman rose to her petite height in her buttoned high-heeled boots tight at her small ankles. She was dressed in a broad skirt cinched tightly at the waist with a wide leather belt. Her blouse was broad and blouson with a cascading lace flurry, pinned by a jewel-encrusted cameo, from her small neck down. She wore a short-waisted, scalloped jacket, collarless, a single button under her ample bodice, sporting three-quarter sleeves which exposed an explosion of lace ruffles at the cinched wrists of the blouse beneath. Her wild auburn hair was tied up in ribbons and curls which he released with a mere tug on a single velvet end. The red-hued ringlets of silken curls fell around her shoulders to her back and breasts. The soft wisps of curls framed the beauty that was her face and her eyes softened with love and desire.
“Disrobe, Amalya, here before the fireplace, in the moonlight and heat of our love. Take the shackles which separate us off one by beautiful one and leave them in a puddle of cotton and gabardine at your feet. Leave but the pearls that adorn your earlobes and neck and let them pale in your shadow.”
“Colin, you flatter me so, but I adore it and would never deny your wishes. Here, sit in your chair, by Puppy, and I shall dance for you by firelight, moonlight and God’s light. For our love is a love that is pure and true. I waited my entire life for you to claim me as your own. I will not deny myself the pleasures of your desires—nor mine.”

The Thrill of the Chase by Elvira Bathory
Switching Up: She’s a brat and likes to push her playmates, but she doesn’t want them to walk away. Patty thinks it’s time to Switch Up.
His slow progress took its toll. “My arms are starting to tingle,” she warned.
“Pity,” he said, stepping back. He didn’t reach up immediately to release her arms, and her bottom warmed with a brief spanking. Her blood heated further with each swat, and she prepared for what would come next. Her arms flopped to her sides as they were freed.
“Better?” he asked, rubbing her arms.
“Yes,” she said, stretching.
“Good. Thank you, Patty. I’m sorry it couldn’t last.”
She blinked in surprise. What was he saying?
“I don’t expect you’ll let me Lord over you if I don’t tie you up. You’re too much of a fighter for that.”
Patty opened her mouth to argue, but anger stole her voice. He was going to leave her like this?
“I had a marvelous time,” he said, brushing her cheek with his fingertips. “I will do better next time.”
Her mouth was still working on air as he walked away.
What the fuck? She was a brat and liked to push her playmates, but that didn’t mean she wanted them to walk away. She was playing hard-to-get, but expected something good when she finally was caught.
Fuming, she scanned the dungeon. Surely someone had seen that and would step in where Reggie had utterly failed. No one was looking her way. Great, she wasn’t even interesting to watch.
Storming to the spanking benches, she tapped Leo on the shoulder. Carol was stretched out and her bum was a heated pink.
“Patty?” he asked.
“May I?” Patty pointed at the paddle he held.
“Carol?” Leo looked to his sub for her permission.
“I don’t mind.”
“Thank you,” Patty said to both of them. She ran her palm over Carol’s ass. The woman hummed with pleasure.
Patty held the paddle with both hands and brought it down with all her anger and frustration.
“Oh-ow!” Carol cried and Leo reached for the paddle, but Patty didn’t use it again immediately, caressing Carol’s ass. She did that for nearly a minute, teasing her pussy as well, until Carol relaxed.
Clenching her jaw, Patty hit Carol again, imagining she was Reggie, or Mark, or James, or any of the others that hadn’t measured up. That hadn’t been willing to work for her.
She returned to massaging Carol’s ass, leaning over her. Patty’s chest tightened and she sucked in a ragged sob. She stared in disbelief at the teardrop on Carol’s bright red cheek.
“Patty?” Leo asked, concern written in the lines on his forehead.
Patty sniffed and wiped her nose on her arm. “I hope you’re ready for a change,” she told Carol, putting one hand on the small of her back while the other teased further with her open pussy.
Patty fucked Carol with her fingers, letting go a little with each sigh and squeal from Carol. By the time she felt Carol coming, squeezing Patty’s fingers hard, Patty had recovered completely. She grinned and changed her tactic, working Carol’s pussy the way Patty loved, the way that resulted in a spray of fluid.
“Yellow,” Carol said between deep, heavy breaths.
Patty backed up, stumbled, and sat down hard. She didn’t get up right away.
“Patty?” Leo asked, holding out a bottle of water for her. “Okay?”
Carol had a thick towel around her shoulders when she sat down next to Patty on the floor. “Oh, that feels nice and cold.” She shifted her weight a bit on the tiles. She grabbed Patty’s bottle and took a few swallows before giving it back. “Think you might be a better top than bottom?”
A twinge in her jaw made Patty realize she was clenching it. She closed her eyes and took a slow deep breath, holding it before exhaling.
“Maybe,” she finally whispered, not sure at all.
“Carol? Time to close shop,” he said.
Patty looked around and found they were alone. “Oh. I’m sorry if I kept you. I’ll go.”
“You don’t have to go,” Carol assured her, hugging Patty. “You can stay upstairs with me.”
Patty shuddered and started sobbing again.
“I’ll take her up,” Leo told Carol. The servile woman began moving through the dungeon, collecting dirty toys, empty bottles and wrappers, straightening things as she went.
“Come on, Patty.” Leo reached a hand to her and she examined it a moment before letting him pull her to her feet.
“When?” she wondered aloud. “When did I become a lost cause?”
Leo used a keypad to open the door to the stairs. “You aren’t a lost cause,” he assured her. “But you are very intimidating.”
Angelica Dawson, best selling Naughty Nights Press author, has been writing for several years and having sex a lot longer than that. Angelica is a wife, mother and environmental consultant. Her love of plants and the outdoors is not diminished by the bloodsucking hoards -- mosquitoes and black flies, not vampires.
Hello Angelica! Thank you so much for visiting with us again!
Well, hello there. How did I get so lucky as to spend a few minutes with you?
How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing? I’ve been writing for 6 years. Fanfiction brought me back to an old passion that had lain fallow for almost a decade. My first title was published in 2013 and although my releases aren’t steady, I have had a couple every year since then.
What are the best and the worst aspects of writing? I love meeting new characters. It’s fantastic when they jump onto the page, fully formed, just waiting for me to discover them. Plotting and complexity are more difficult for me. As a result, I tend to write shorter works (<30 000 words).
What inspires you to write? One vibrant, concrete image. It’s usually a scene or a conversation, but it’s something I can see from every angle. These are very easy to write and the slightly more difficult task is writing the story that connects these images.
What is the title of your story included in Alpha Fever? How did you come up with this story? I’ve written Switching Up for Alpha Fever. I used Riz Kay, the BDSM dungeon, in another story and wanted to write another and explore it more. I’ve met a couple of Brats and thought one would make a fun story.
How did you conduct your research for Switching Up? I have attended a number of public panels hosted by my local BDSM community. Most of my research is conducted with them, either in person or online.
What are 3 of your favorite lines/quotes from Switching Up? 1.) What the fuck? She was a brat and liked to push her playmates, but that didn’t mean she wanted them to walk away. She was playing hard-to-get, but expected something good when she finally was caught.
2.) A look passed between Leo and Carol, one she’d seen in other couples, one she’d never given or received. It was love in knowledge. They knew each other so well and rather than making loving one another difficult, it made it better.
Reading affirmation in their gaze, she knew what Carol was about to say. She wouldn’t be their third wheel, though, getting in the middle of this committed pair.
3.) Once his partner was in the bathroom, Leo leaned forward and put his face only inches from Patty’s. “I don’t want to hear you are taking needless risks.”
“I—”
“I understand that fall was calculated and not really dangerous, but I will be damned before I let you hurt yourself to get a high. If you need to lose control, you can give it to me.”
“I’m not your sub,” Patty reminded him. “You have one, a permanent one. I’m not trying to get in the middle of that.”
Leo’s dark eyes were still fierce. “You are in the middle of it. Do you think Carol took coffee here before? Have you considered that I wanted to know you were okay? We talk about you more often than you would guess, as a friend and a switch. You fit well between us Patty, and we worry about you.”
What would your friends say is your best quality? My willingness to help out. I try to give my friends a boost whenever they need it, which is good, because I often need them to do the same for me.
Are reader reviews important to you? Somewhat. I don’t stalk my reviews and track every single one that comes in. Bad reviews really shake me up. That said, when I’m buying a book, I don’t usually do so based on reviews, so I try to remember there are readers like me out there too.
What do you do when you don’t write? I’m an environmental consultant, wife and mother. In my day job, I am also writing, but they are technical and scientific papers instead of fiction.
Tell us about your other books? My primary titles are the many volumes in the Blue Moon House series. It follows a family of vampires that follow and shape the BDSM community. As I go back in time, seeing the introduction of each vampire, the group is really kicking off BDSM in a lot of ways, while in the more recent time periods, they are instead the epitome of it. I also have Not Your Bitch and Woman’s Best Friend, shifter stories with a werewolf and BBW with low self-esteem (former) or a dog in a BDSM relationship (latter).
If you could share one thing about yourself that you would like readers to know what would it be? I am not as experienced as my characters. I’m flexible and have tried a lot of things, but most of my scenes are purely imagination.
Thank you so much for stopping by! It has been a pleasure to share with you.
